About Me
How I romanticize my day job:
I started in hardware design, poking at DUTs until I realized my true calling was one layer above in the stack. After a Master’s at VIT-Vellore, I landed at Intel, where I’ve spent the last 5 years deep in Memory Firmware.
Now, I spend my days (and occasionally my dreams) developing algorithms and building agentic workflows—essentially teaching machines to do my job so I can focus on more interesting problems. It’s a wild ride working with some of the smartest 🧠 in the industry to ensure the server world doesn’t decide to take an nap🌟🤓.
How I spend my battery life:
Aug 2021 – Present
I design and implement firmware from low-level hardware details. I gather requirements, conduct design and code reviews, and perform testing and validation of product implementations. I develop stable, high-performance firmware for the memory subsystem, including initialization of the memory controller, along with training and calibration algorithms. I create solutions that meet memory design specifications and JEDEC standards across multiple memory technologies in both digital and analog environments. I enable firmware on simulation models to verify designs, analyze timing, and identify bugs. I replicate, root-cause, and debug issues in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments. I collaborate with digital and analog architects and RTL designers to strengthen verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features and achieve functional goals.

Why do I write?
I write blogs to capture my thoughts and experiences for my future self, sharing my journey to inspire myself later. I also try to enjoy life, which brings humor to my existence and reminds me that even in a complicated world, there’s always room for laughter, learning, and value creation.
